Black Horseman

More posts from the distant past!

I’m still working on the LozBlog theme, and still need more posts for testing files and styles on this category (Pix). Did I mention that all posts from this category should have at least one Image? On the “featured” feature.

That’s why I dug up an ancient logo for the identity I was assuming back in 2002, according to meta data on the original file. It was made on Adobe Fireworks, like last one. Don’t know if I can still open it and edit its vectors with another software, either Photoshop nor Illustrator seem to reckon the layers.

Even though I already had my nickname (why, yes, Lozbo), or maybe because I wanted to change it to something more heavy or dark, I started using the moniker “Black Horseman”.

A song from King Diamond, an awesome musician from Denmark, was used as inspiration. If you’re really into it, you can find the eponym song on Youtube.

The Seven Horsemen will arrive before the dawn!

-King Diamond

I think most of King Diamonds solo albums were conceptual, the lyrics swirled around a fiction story the King had developed, which today escape my best efforts to recall.

And just as I don’t really remember why I started using it, I suddenly stopped and pivoted back to Lozbo.

Every day, the future looks a little bit darker. But the past, even the grimy parts of it, keep on getting brighter
