Cities close to Offenburg

These are some cities I am planning to go, but on a one day trip (two max.), because they are within a reasonable distance time, to go there will take 2 or 3 hours, although some will need the fast, expensive trains (but hey, that’s why I bought the Bahn Card in the first place). This will allow me to go there and back again in the same day, or even more than once (in the future) if I don’t get to see everything around:

(not in any specific order)

  • Bern, Switzerland
  • Zürich, Switzerland
  • Strasbourg, France
  • Paris, France
  • Metz, France
  • Frankfurt, Germany
  • Luxembourg, Luxembourg

The Bahn Card 50 is a special discount card that grants you 50% off any train ticket you want (within Germany), for a year. For people younger than 25 costs 105 or so euros, and twice the price for people above that age.

Also there are some cities that will take minimum two days (maybe a weekend), cities that are more than 3 or 4 hours to get there. This is not because of the city itself, which actually is the most important aspect to consider, but (for me it’s also important) because of the timing and distance (and also pricing and lodging) from Offenburg, where I live now.

And yes, I am studying in the University.

Every day, the future looks a little bit darker. But the past, even the grimy parts of it, keep on getting brighter
